Cody Denartha is a singer and guitarist from Killarney, County Kerry, Ireland. Raised by creative, free-thinking parents alongside her two brothers, she was home-schooled in the shadow of the Kerry mountains before leaving for New York City at 19.
She makes emo indie folk with a cinematic soul — intimate, atmospheric and emotionally honest, with delicate orchestral strings running underneath. Think Phoebe Bridgers and Julien Baker, but with a distinctly Irish melancholy beneath the surface.
